The story is supposedly based on the life of South Indian Sensation Silk Smitha. To the world and her fans, Silk was the queen of sensuality. But at heart, she was just like any other woman yearning for love in a ruthless world. The movie is about the tragedy behind the mask of the sex symbol that provided titillation to thousands of viewers but died a lonely and tragic death.
